3 Years since my last post, to begin with the field of Agriculture does not appear to be as lucrative as described during my MBA times. With an Agri. Entrepreneur being an ultimate gambler, setting bets against weather, climate and the disgusting market forces of the Indian market. Even tried with the retail chain to beat the conventional supply chain, but when in India it's said " In the end ; It doesn't even matter". Some how I could realize / connect with the suppressed feelings and emotions of Indian Farmer's that I could not identify during my extensive trips in year 2008 & 2009 - Gujarat and Rajasthan state as a part of Market Research for two major agricultural organisation. No wonder why India having the vast section of its population (approx. 45 %) involved in agriculture, has such a poor GDP growth in this sector.
Well all the above is nations problem, that ain't gonna be addressed any time sooner.
To continue with my leanings with a major area under fig uprooted due to marketing constraints. I have set to choose another crop Pomegranate for the future ventures, in the blogs for the future will be sharing about the experiences related to this new challenge. As of now trying to learn about three commodities Mango, Wild Gooseberries and Pomegranate.
Here is how years of constructive work looks like.

Professionally have undergone various supply chain activities to address Aflatoxin in Maize, but that tale will be for some time later. With all said and learnt sharing some of the photos of the matured farm, almost a decade old. It looks beautiful and reminds me all the struggles that my parents have put in making this extraordinary venture last.
